Franchising dispute are not fun. They are like a family argument where no one wins. That is because a franchise is often more than just a business relationship. A Franchisee will often have their financial assets, employment, personal relationships (their spouse is working in the franchise as well) and business perspective intertwined with the franchise relationship.
What is needed by Franchisees above anything are flexible and final ways of resolving disputes. Flexible so they get to have their say and final because if they drag on for years without resolution they will eat into the fabric of the business relationship, the same as a bad marriage. And with similar consequences.
